61-year-old grandmother loves to rock on with her electric guitar

A video clip on YouTube captured a grandmother impressively riffing on an electric guitar, leaving viewers in awe of her undeniable skill, Faithpot reported.

Paula Jo Taylor may be 61, but she has the heart of a 16-year-old. It’s obvious she has invested countless hours mastering her guitar-playing skills.

She demonstrated her impressive talent during an impromptu performance before an enthusiastic crowd at a National Association of Music Merchants show a few years ago. The moment was captured by another participant and shared online.

Soon, Paula was featured on a radio show produced by Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, and she’s been busy ever since. Paula has performed to open concerts for Johnny Cash, Ernest Tubb and even Taylor Swift, Wiki Biography explained.

Paula is one half of a mother-daughter group called The Taylors Duo.

Age should never be a barrier, nor should it dictate our abilities or the pursuit of our dreams, Faithpot explained, citing the old saying, “With age comes wisdom.” Perhaps, for Paula Jo Taylor, age also comes with unmatched guitar riffs.
